This article is part of the meta-post 4134 Words Or How The Writers Of The New Dune Novels Sold Out. This article gives a review and recap of the first four episodes of this reality TV show on Bravo.
This is an interesting reality TV show on Bravo. It revolves around a personal trainer named Jackie Warner who opened a gym called Sky Sport & Spa on the top of a building in Beverly Hills. She has hired a crop of very talented trainers that cater to a high class clientele.
The show follows the ups and downs in Jackie’s life. She happens to be a lesbian as well and her rocky relationship with Mimi drains Jackie as well. Rebecca, one of the contestants from an Amazing Race season is a trainer in the gym. Rebecca is obsessed about sex, she talks about it all the time and is very flirtatious with her clients. She is always showing her crack. I knew a barmaid like that at a club, but Rebecca is very fit.
Brian is the southerner who is unsure of his station because Jackie feels that he doesn’t listen to her. He almost gets fired, however Jackie decides to keep him around, but she hires Jesse to pick up some slack. Naturally, Brian resents Jesse a lot, though that doesn’t seem to work in his favor.
When Jackie leaves to train a socialite in Denver, she leaves Erica in charge. The trainers did not respect her at all, Zen even brought a dog to work that shat on the mats. Things went downhill from there at the staff meeting where nobody except Jesse backed Erica up. Brian also started recruiting Doug for his new gym. Erica heard it all.
Not to be undone, Jesse was responsible to housesit Jackie’s house and dogs. Erica was the only person aloud there, but the trainers decided otherwise. Doug and Brian decide to start a house party at Jackie’s place by inviting everyone that they knew. Things get out of hand when furniture gets broken.
Jesse thinks that he would have enough time to clean everything up, however Jackie turns up to a filthy house and is pissed.
Also, Jackie’s four year relationship with Mimi is in jeopardy because of Mimi’s jealous streak. I personally think that Jackie is too old for Mimi, they aren’t in the same place. Mimi is very young and angry.
