Today’s Classes

Les Plaines d’Abraham in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Taken on the 23rd of June 2006 during the St-Jean-Baptiste Fete with a Sony Cybershot DSC-P93 5.1 MP camera. Part of the Quebec City Lights Series.

Today, I am working at the adult English school and I plan on doing a few things. I had prepared some material from last week, which I plan on using with my Monday night class as well.

It is the Fear and Consumption worksheet that I found on forumosa, thanks to Fox. Last week, I was able to use up almost 45 minutes with only the first part of this worksheet. I haven’t even started on the fear survey, which I plan on doing tonight.

I plan on using it for both my classes, IELTS A and my conversational English class. One of the reasons is because I only have 2 pages to do with my IELTS class, so I have to come up with extra material. Between the movie opinions which I tried the week before and the fear and consumption worksheet, the worksheet worked best.

So just in case I run out of material for this week for the IELTS class, I am prepared. I will use the same thing in the conversational English class. I am able to breeze through the class material pretty quickly, when I know how much time I need to do the worksheets.

I have been told that most of the students expect more than what is presented to them in their book, so that they can practice their English and get better.

I still have to stop by at the RT Mart after my class.
