Inversions By Iain M. Banks

This is the 8th science-fiction novel from Scottish writer Iain M. Banks. It is also the seventh novel I have read from him in a few short days, including Feersum Endjinn, The Algebraist, Consider Phlebas, The Player of Games, Against A Dark Background and Excession.

I have enjoyed reading most of them, though I regard Excession and The Algebraist as his best. Inversions was published in 1998.

This is a spoiler free review of the science-fiction novel Inversions by Iain M. Banks.

Painkiller Jane – The Movie (Scifi)

This is the TV movie that led to the new series Painkiller Jane on Scifi with Kristanna Loken.

Personally, I thought that the movie was good.

I just hope that the series will get better in a few episodes.

Please read this post if you want to know more about Painkiller Jane.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

Books And Pitt Pens

I took the time yesterday to catch up on some sleep.

I had some time to kill in between tutoring and teaching, so I went by PageOne.

Luckily, I had just finished all of Iain M. Banks‘ books that I could find. There are still 3 books that I need to order: Use of Weapons, State of Art and Look to Windward.

The reviews for Feersum Endjinn and Inversions are upcoming. I find it strange that Inversions would be classified as a science-fiction book, since there is nothing to indicate sci-fi in this book. I’ll research it a bit tonight before posting my review.
