It’s funny to see that Jaime doesn’t learn from her mistakes. Even though she admits her faults in therapy with Dr. Foster, she can’t implement these changes in her life. She was able to distance herself from Nick, but she meets Hugo. Once again she goes down that path, even though she knows that it’s probably not the best for her.
Meanwhile Katie and Dave continue to make some progress. Even though they’ve hit rock bottom and Katie has been thinking about leaving Dave, they continue to make discoveries. There is a really nice one for them at the end of the episode.
Palek wants to go on a separate path from Carolyn since he is afraid of being a father. In this episode he discovers that he is still tied to her.
I loved this episode. I liked how Jaime couldn’t help herself but be with Hugo. On the other hand, Katie and Dave made a quantum leap forward. I was very surprised that Palek left at the end of the last episode. The stress could have provoked a miscarriage for Carolyn. I recommend this show.

Palek is packing a bag and leaving. Carolyn won’t let him leave. She can’t believe that he is leaving.
Jaime sees Hugo while shopping. He sees her as well. He is filling his car up with gas. They kind of ignore each other. Hugo phones her on her cell phone. She tells him that she isn’t seeing Nick anymore. She says that she feels good being alone.
Isabelle notices that her parents aren’t talking. She thinks that they are fighting.
Palek is with his friend talking about his relationship and drinking a beer. His wife Julia isn’t really sympathetic with Palek.
May and Arthur are getting ready for the day. Arthur wants to go on a vacation. May gets a call from Olivia, John’s daughter. John died. May goes to her office. She is in session with Jaime. She talks about Hugo. She is clearly distracted. Jaime says that she’s changed. She’s different. She says that she is in love with Hugo. May tells her that if she’s right, then why is she trying to sell this so hard to May? Jaime is just reverting to her old self.
Palek is being an asshole to Dave. Something to do with some aluminum beams that Palek ordered for his site. He gets a call from Katie. She asks him if he wants to cancel therapy. He says no.
Hugo calls Jaime. He wants to have dinner.
Palek and Carolyn are in therapy with May. Carolyn wants to say things to Palek. She tells him that the baby will hate him and that he will never see it. He will be worse than his father. She says that she doesn’t care how he feels anymore. Palek agrees, he doesn’t care either.
Katie and Dave are having dinner with Dan at Mix. Hugo meets Jaime at Mix. Katie sees Hugo. She checks him out. Hugo meets Jaime for dinner. Jaime recognizes Dave and Katie. Hugo tells Jaime that Katie was checking him out. Anya Nick’s ex and current girlfriend works at Mix. She is serving Hugo and Jaime. Katie gives Hugo a smile. Katie gives them both a last look before she leaves.
Carolyn comes by to see Palek. She apologizes for her words during therapy. Palek says that some of the things she said she meant. They both admit to loving each other. But Palek says that this isn’t about that. Carolyn says that this about them and their relationship.
Hugo and Jaime continue flirting heavily after dinner. Jaime tells him that she can’t. They talk on the phone a bit later. She tells him by the time he proposed to her, she had already cheated on him. Hugo says that he forgives her. Jaime says that she can’t even forgive herself.
Katie finds Dave on the sofa.
Carolyn is meeting Mason. Mason is trying to make her feel better.
Dave and Katie are in session again. Kate says that she had doubts about a lot of things. Katie has been feeling doubts for a while. Most of their friends are divorced. Dave says that Katie has been sleeping on the couch for the whole week. She went out and bought clothes, blew off therapy and tried getting a new job. Katie also changed her mind about having a baby. Katie says that she can’t be that woman anymore. Katie thought that if they started having sex again, it would fix their relationship. They don’t know each other anymore. May tells them that therapy sometimes lights a light onto things that they would have best wanted hidden. The thing is to not be afraid of the light and to live with it. Or something along those lines.
Carolyn is at her gynecologist for a check-up. Something is wrong and the doctor wants her to call Palek. Carolyn had a miscarriage.
Hugo comes to his car and finds the words “marry me” written on a paper. Jaime and Hugo go to a chapel to get married.
Katie tells Dave that she wishes that they would have never gone. Dave is pissed at her. He tells her to screw herself and she goes into the kitchen. He comes in and kisses her.
Palek cuddles Carolyn in their bed. Hugo nuzzles Jaime. Katie walks back into the bedroom and gets naked. They start to dry hump. They both masturbate themselves on top of each other. A little spice and fire was needed to start the passion again.
