I got really interested in Tom Clancy novels after that.

The Last Enemy is really interesting. In the future, the UK has become a Big Brother like society. It’s not really as extreme as that epithet leads you to believe. It’s the beginning of the end of free will to protect the society from imagined or real terrorism. It draws a disturbing parallel with what is happening in the US right now. That’s not to say that this isn’t happening in Europe as well.

Big Brother US S09E20 (CBS)

Chelsia isn’t happy that she got screwed over by having feelings for James. She doesn’t want to leave. She cries. James consoles her. Nat thinks that Alzheimer’s disease is All-Timer’s disease. She spells night N-I-T-E. Orange and green make brown. Chelsia can’t stand her. She’s very ignorant. She destroys Natt’s Easter eggs. She then happily smashes the other eggs. She picks on Nat. It’s kind of funny. Adam and Ryan watch her on the screen.

Big Brother US S09E19 (CBS)

Chelsia says that it was a smart move to nominate her, because otherwise she would do anything to get James off the block. Everyone wants James out, that’s what Chelsia thinks. Sheila tries to hug Chelsia, but she doesn’t want it.
Nat congratulates Adam on his move. Sheila doesn’t like James and Chelsia. She thinks that they are being childish.

Sheila is congratulating Adam as well. James and Chelsia are putting in an overconfident happy manner. Josh tells Chelsia that she’s probably going to stay because everyone wants James out. James tries to make Chelsia to throw the POV competition because he’s already been evicted once. Chelsia isn’t about to do that.

Big Brother US S09E18 (CBS)

Adam will probably nominate James this week. Sheila flip-flops around the issues a lot. She goes from one alliance to the other. Nat thinks that Matty is her soulmate. She’s pathetic, since he doesn’t want anything to do with her.

Adam says in the diary room that he didn’t want to be the HoH, but in the end he probably wanted to lead the house for one week. Adam doesn’t want a target on his back, but he will after this week.

In Treatment Week 9 Gina Friday 4PM S01E43 (HBO)

In Treatment will last a total of 43 episodes. In Treatment is based on the Israeli series Betipul. Gabriel Byrne plays Paul Weston, a psychologist trying to deal with his patients while going through some personal problems. Each show focuses on a different patient. Mondays feature Laura, an anesthesiologist infatuated with Paul. Tuesdays feature Alex, an ex-fighter pilot traumatized by events that happened a few years ago. Wednesdays feature Sophie, a suicidal teenage gymnast with Olympic aspirations. Thursdays feature Jake and Amy, a couple in couple’s counseling. Fridays feature Gina, Paul’s own therapist and mentor that he stopped seeing 8 years ago for some reason.

I’ve always loved psychology. This show really feeds that need. The sessions are almost verbatim of what would happen in a real session. This show is about characters, not actions. It’s a very smart show and I am also very surprised that Marky Mark is the executive producer. Marky Mark has had success with Entourage so it makes sense that he decided to try out other projects.
