Survivor Micronesia I Promise S16E10 (CBS)

Well, we all knew it was coming. Only some of the favorites didn’t foresee this.

Ozzy and some of the players win a reward. It involved flying to an Indonesian island and pigging out on food. The others downplayed the food when they came back, but Ozzy boasted about it. Amanda realizes that he’s arrogant. Erik was sick because of the Micronesian beer and the betel nuts.

During the immunity challenge, most of the players are tempted off the endurance balance challenge by food presented by Jeff. The funniest is Nat. She was so excited by the food, that she didn’t abandon at the right time and didn’t get anything.

Like an idiot, Ozzy decides to go for the three donuts that Jeff brought. After six hours, Parv and Jason are left. Jason like an idiot, decides to accept the group’s deal for the food and abandons as well. The whole group gets some food. Cirie, Amanda and a few others cross their fingers when they give their word to Jason.

Back at camp, Cirie decides to use this opportunity to get rid of Ozzy. She enlists Parv, Nat, Alexis, Jason to finally get rid of him. James senses something strange is afoot and tries to warn Ozzy, but Ozzy is overconfident and doesn’t listen.

At tribal council, he brought the immunity idol with him, but doesn’t look at Cirie’s jubilant face after the votes are cast. He is voted off. No surprise there. Amanda and James are really surprised. It looks like the girls are going to get rid of all of the boys. On the hit list, James, Erik and Jason. Amanda is somewhere in between. Parv kind of burned her bridges.

The season will wind down almost predictably. However, it was a strong move by Cirie to get rid of Ozzy at this stage. He was completely blindsided and didn’t expect it. That just goes to show you that you need absolutely to win immunity in order to be safe. Also he didn’t read the mood at camp right.

Cirie is back in the fold of the faves. Amanda is still pissed at Parv for putting her in a delicate situation. Jason won the last immunity challenge. Eliza was voted out. Jason had given her the fake immunity idol that Ozzy had planted.

The rats are congregating in the cave. Parv couldn’t believe it. Cirie thinks that if Jason would have used the real idol, Ozzy would have gone home. That wouldn’t have been bad. Jason thinks that he will be able to stay as long as he wins competitions.

It’s time for the next challenge. The challenge involves swimming then crawling through a net tunnel. They have to study a board of Indonesian symbols and then come back to put them on their board. They are split up into two teams of four. The winners will be flown away to spend the night at a feast.

Jason and Nat are the team captains. Jason chooses Ozzy, Erik, Amanda. Nat goes for James, Parv, Alexis. Cirie is heading off to Exile Island. She’s not going to take part in the challenge or the reward.

Ozzy’s team wins the reward. They will be flying away for the reward. They fly out to the island nation of Yap. The village is waiting for the survivors to start their feast. Erik says that this is the most boobs that he’s seen in his entire life. All of the women at the village were topless. Ozzy likes going to places with Erik. He’s naïve and wide-eyed about the world.

Erik starts to eat some betel nut. That night, Erik starts to puke because of the Micronesian beer and the betel nuts. Amanda and Ozzy find it funny.

Things are miserable at Exile Island. It’s cold, rainy and miserable. Cirie says that Ozzy is a huge target. Having the idol just increased this target and threat tenfold.

Back at the Dabu camp, James wakes everybody up by hacking some firewood. It doesn’t really get anyone up. He continues to bash some sticks and the machete with the axe. Parv tells him off and he leaves. James isn’t happy. He tended the fire all night to keep the mosquitoes away from them.

The others come back and Ozzy starts talking about food. Amanda looks at him and tries to shut him up, but Ozzy just continues talking about it. It rubbed Parv the wrong way. She thinks that Ozzy is a brat. Amanda and James are talking about Parv and her new alliance with Alexis and Nat. It’s dangerous.

It’s time for the immunity challenge. When Jason hands back the immunity necklace, Alexis and Nat exchange knowing glances. If Jason doesn’t win immunity, they know that he’ll be going home. The challenge involves balance and endurance. The survivors are tethered to a bucket of water. One hand has to remain high above their heads. On top of that, they are balancing on a small log. After 20 minutes, when Jeff tries to bribe them with a bowl of candy, Erik and Cirie drop out of the challenge.

After 45 minutes, Alexis drops out of the challenge. She doesn’t get anything. She didn’t wait until Jeff revealed the bribe. A chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk make Nat drop out. She shows her bum to everyone. James loses concentration and drops out.

Jason, Amanda, Ozzy and Parv are left in the challenge. After an hour, three chocolate donuts tempt Ozzy into dropping out.

Parv, Jason and Amanda are left. Three hours into the challenge, it starts to rain. Five hours into the challenge, Amanda has to go to the bathroom and drops out. She runs away to pee. Parv and Jason are left.

After 6 hours, Jeff comes to tempt them with a full plate of goodies. They want Jason to drop out. He says that he will only drop out if he gets a guarantee that they won’t vote for him. Cirie and Alexis lie about voting for him. Ozzy, James and Amanda agree to guarantee Jason’s position. Jason drops out. He’s going to be voted out at tribal council.

Jason almost regrets stepping down because he spent six and a half hours up there. Ozzy and James discuss it and wonder why he was up there for so long and didn’t stay longer. They both know that he is going to be voted out tonight.

They both say that he got outwitted by everyone else. The plan is to still vote him out. Cirie wants to use this in order to get rid of Ozzy. She marshals the troops in order to vote him out. She enlists Jason, Nat, Alexis and Parv. Parv makes sure that Amanda is still voting for Jason.

Nat and Alexis brief Jason about the vote tonight. They just pray that he won’t be using the idol. James and Ozzy are getting a bad feeling about Parv. Actually James is getting a bad feeling. Ozzy thinks that this would be a good moment to flush the idol out, knowing that Ozzy has it. However, he doesn’t believe in James’ instincts. He is taking it with him to tribal council. That’s a smart move. I’d use the idol tonight if I were Ozzy.

It’s time for tribal council. Jason is a sap. Jeff discusses the deal that Jason made with the tribe. Parv agrees that it’s a huge risk. Jeff kind of points it out that Ozzy is going to get backdoored. Ozzy should whip out the immunity idol.

Looking at the smug reaction on Cirie’s face as Parv casts her vote, Ozzy should know what’s going to happen. Ozzy doesn’t play the idol. He’s a goner.

He’s actually a bit stupid. He didn’t test the mood right. By a vote of 5-4, Ozzy is voted out of survivor. Like an idiot, he didn’t play right. He should have won tribal immunity. He should have played the idol, but he didn’t. He got what was coming for him. Amanda and James are surprised. Eliza is amazed. She still can’t believe it.

Ozzy admits that he’s an idiot. He says that he hates Parv and Cirie for voting against him.
