Survivor Micronesia I Should Be Carried on the Chariot-Type Thing S16E03 (CBS)

With the WGA strike finally resolved, you might think that things would go back to normal quickly. However we are months away from seeing new content from some television series. Some like 24 have opted to completely postpone this season until next year.

That being said, CBS ordered three new seasons of reality shows. Survivor and Big Brother have already started. In a few months, we will get another edition of the Amazing Race.

This season of Survivor features fans vs fan favorites. I’m pretty happy to see Ozzy again. He’s like a dolphin in water and it’s amazing to see. It’s also interesting ot see James, Amanda, Parvati and Yau Man.

In the fan camp, things aren’t going well. The fans are hungry, wet and not well rested.You’d think that they would be making a lot of mistakes. The favourites are wrapped up in their own arguments. One camp formed by the two couples James/Parvati and Ozzy/Amanda is trying to get Cirie over to their side. The other alliance formed by Jonathan/Eliza/Yau Man/Amy wants her as well. However Cirie has got her own agenda. She wants someone specific gone and she’ll use that as an incentive to get others to vote with her.

In the end, the fans want to win a lot more than the favourites. The favourites have been there done that. The fans need to win. At tribal, there is a gigantic argument between players. Someone is upset that things aren’t going his way and he vocalizes this during tribal.

Mikey thinks that Joel stuck a knife in his back. Mikey is annoying Joel by talking about strategy and telling him that he made a wrong move by evicting Mary.

Parvati/James and Ozzy/Amber invite Eliza to the beach. They try to talk her into becoming part of their alliance. Cirie hasn’t yet made her mind up with whom she will vote.

The fans are picking out their rewards for the challenge. They will get them if they win. The tribes are painting themselves.

Logically, if someone invades my home, I’m going to kill them.
Joel

For today’s challenge, the tribes start at the opposite end of an end zone. Their goal is to bring the bags into their end zone. They need to bring in bags. It starts to rain. They have to transport the bags in a shallow pool of water.

It’s getting physical. Erik whacks Eliza on the head when she won’t let go of his swimming trunks. He’s dragging her across to his end zone. It’s funny. The game is interesting, because the survivors can steal the other team’s bags from their end zone. The favourites win. They decide to send Kathy to Exile Island. They send Amy as well. The favourites win reward.

Back at camp, Cirie feels insecure. She’s not relaxing. Cirie says that they should do more for her. Maybe she should lose a few pounds, that fat bitch. Cirie talks with Amanda and Parvati about their relationships. Jonathan says that Cirie needs to be reassured a lot. Eliza and Jonathan notice them. He tells Eliza to go talk with her.

Meanwhile on Exile Island, Kathy and Amy read a clue. Kathy plays dumb. She didn’t feel like island hopping.
The fans are getting wet. They don’t have a good shelter and no tarp. They huddle for warms. It’s a storm. The favourites settle into their cave. They’ve got a cozy blanket. The fans will be exhausted for the immunity challenge.

The next day, Joel says that last night was the worst night. He feels like they got beaten twice. Once by the favourites and the weather. Alexis is shivering.

It’s time for the immunity challenge. People have to hold onto a coconut net. The other team will lob coconuts into the net. The team that holds on the longest onto their net wins. Jonathan is talking trash to distract the other team. The favourites loose and are going to tribal council. It took them too long to start scoring.

Jonathan and Yau Man confer to vote off Parvati. The other side wants Yau Man gone. Cirie wants him gone. It’s personal with Cirie. The others want Eliza gone. Maybe Tenner. Tenner comes by and breaks up the party. Tenner is starting to feel antsy about the vote. Ami might vote with them. Cirie calls him out about his micro alliance with Yau Man. She knows that they have decided to go together to the final two.

Ozzy and Jonathan talk about the situation. Ozzy says that he will vote for Eliza. He talks with his band. Parvati faces the situation that they are losing control. They need to vote as a group in order to not waste any votes. Ozzy tries again to talk with Cirie. Cirie says that she is voting for Yau Man. James realizes that Cirie went from being the swing vote to deciding what will happen.

Jonathan thinks that his alliance is voting for Parvati. He hopes to split the vote in the other alliance so that they will have a majority.

During tribal, Yau Man and James think that they aren’t hungry enough to win. Cirie rolls her eyes when Yau-Man talks. She can’t stand him. Cirie and Jonathan argue about semantics.

Cirie’s alliance voted Yau Man off. They did well. He’s a very dangerous player. Albeit I would have liked to watch him some more.
