Warning: Spoilers ahead.
This is Jack’s story after the Island. His flashforwards concentrate on what happens after Kate’s trial. In the present on the island, Jack needs to have surgery. Jin, Sun, Faraday and Charlotte head to the medical station to get some supplies. Sawyer, Miles and Claire make their way back to the beach. The show is split into these four different storylines, two of them intersect.
Jin makes an interesting discovery. Charlotte speaks Korean and he uses this to make sure that Sun will be able to get off the island with their child. Sawyer and Miles are on their way back to the beach. Miles hears ghosts and finds the buried bodies of Rousseau and Carl. Rousseau is most definitely dead.
More drama is happening to Sawyer’s party when Claire walks off in the middle of the night with Christian Sheppard, her dad. Her dad is also Jack’s dad. Aaron is Jack’s nephew. She disappears at the end of the show and Sawyer finds Aaron all alone.
It was her time to go?
Jack needs an appendectomy. It goes through without any complications. In the future, Jack and Kate are together. Jack starts drinking again when he learns that Kate has been doing some errands for Sawyer, who elected to stay on the island. She doesn’t divulge exactly what she has been doing for him.
I thought that this was a great episode. Finally, Jack and Kate are together, but they have problems. Big problems. Jack is suspicious and Kate doesn’t really help matters when she helps out Sawyer. I think that Claire’s disappearance is the most important happening of this show. Claire is gone. From the flashforwards that involve Kate, we can assume that Claire is gone for good. She will not come back since Kate takes Aaron off the island as her own son.
Has she joined the Others? It’s like the island took her back somehow.

Charlotte really looks amazing. She’s got these pale vivid blue eyes and this reddish hair. An awesome combination. Jin and Sun watch their exchange before they get into the medical station. He asks Sun in Korean if Charlotte knows that Dan likes her. Sun says that she’s a woman. She knows. Sun has got her back to Charlotte. Jin is looking at her. Charlotte glances back in a way that implies that she understood what they had been saying. She even gives Jin a brief smile, almost like an afterthought. Actually, it wasn’t directed at Jin, it was just her reaction to what Sun had just said.
While Dan and Charlotte gather the supplies, Sun is worried and tells Jin that they aren’t going to help them. Charlotte once again looks at them. There are more knowing glances from Charlotte.
Sawyer’s party face off with Lapidus. He tells them to hide. Keamy is coming for him. One of the soldiers is injured. Aaron makes a sound and Keamy is weary. They leave thanks to Lapidus’ insistence.

At the beach, the surgery went well. Juliet is suturing him up. Jack is going to be fine. Kate is happy. Juliet tells Kate that Jack kissed her when Kate came back from the Barracks. She tells Kate that he does love someone else. She implies that Jack loves Kate.
In the future, Jack is waiting for Kate. She comes home and find shim drinking and popping pills. She wonders why Veronica their nanny was home. She usually leaves at 4PM. She was still there at 6PM. Kate wants to know why he’s acting so strange. He says that he went to see Hurley and that he didn’t tell her because he didn’t want to upset her. He asks her where she went today. Kate asks him to trust her and just leave it be. Jack isn’t about to let it go. He wants to know whom she has been seeing. She says that she was doing something for Sawyer. She promised not to say anything. He’s not here. He chose to stay on the Island. Jack came back for her. He needs to figure out her problems.
Jack screams at her. He isn’t her son. She’s not related to Aaron, whereas Jack is his uncle.
