Launch Night

I’m just meeting the new HM during launch night. Travis is a nightmare. Let me just explain. He’s a heterosexual bloke with an awkwardly high pitched voice. It’s almost like something out of Seinfeld.

They’ve changed the BBAU house at Dreamwold. No more kitchen, a smaller pool, a giant bed and pillows directly from BBUK and no more farm. I don’t know how I feel about no longer having Gretel Kileen as the main host. I thought that she was alright, but then again she was at times either too controversial or just insisted on the wrong types of questions during the exit interviews. She also dressed horribly.

They’ve put a grandma inside named Terri, a blonde vet named Alice, a 20 year old Paris Hilton wannabe named Brigitte, a Japanese-Australian named Nobbi, a strange guy believing in UFOs named Saxon and an 18 year old girl with a natural 38F chest named Bianca.

Rory is 29 year old apprentice bricklayer with strange dreadlocks. Renee works in an abattoir and loves Australian football. All of the HM have to leave their favourite memento in the memento cabinet.

The next HM Rima is a midget. She describes herself as a shrunk normal person. I know of this type of dwarfism. They are basically normal proportioned people but on a reduced scale. She’s married with a big person. She admits that she’s got a potty mouth.

Rory and Brigitte were trying to moon the next arrival. BB tells them off for doing so. Most of the HM are shocked to see how small Rima is. Ben is a good looking geek who is studying law.

Dixie is an Australian aborigine. She’s on the heavy side. Rebecca is a personal trainer. Or maybe that’s what she wants to be. Why else would she be working as a skimpy barmaid? David was raised in a religious sect. He finally escaped when he was 19. He’s 31. He was a cop and now he’s a firefighter. He’s divorced. He gets a few boos when he reveals that his memento is a Canberra Raiders shirt, but it’s all done in good fun.

BB tells the HM that they have to evict one of their own tomorrow morning at sunrise. They will decide amongst themselves who will go. The house will remain closed until they make a decision. BB says that this is the first of several snap evictions.

On Sunday, three HM will be sent into the house. These HM are the ones that the public has voted for.

Daily Show

Minutes after the last person enters the compound, the HM are informed that a person will be leaving at sunrise. Rory has already made up his mind. He plans to vote for Rima or Terri. He thinks because of the games and the physical tasks. Rebecca isn’t happy with what he says. She can’t go that way. Travis says that you have to pick someone.

Ben tells Rory that he’d probably nominate one of the girls in the spa (Renee, Brigitte, Alice, Dixie or Bianca ). Meanwhile the girls in the hot tub are comparing breasts sizes. Brigitte definitely has got fake tits. She regrets getting them so small. Bianca says that they are a pain.

David, Ben and Brigitte figure out that Kombi van has a pull out bed.

Travis is afraid of overly dominant women. He was bullied at work by someone like that.

Saxon can’t wait to get into the house to see the bedrooms. Rima teaches Renee to shake her bum.

Rima and Dixie want to vote Brigitte out.

HM decide to tell each other why they should stay in the house.

There is an hour left. Nobbi wants to vote for Terri. Ben wants to vote for David.

It’s 6AM. It’s time to vote:

Terri is evicted! Oh no, no old people!

Brigitte is angry for being called ditzy by some of the HM. She does sound kind of stupid when she talks with Bianca. Rima and Saxon are talking about Terri’s eviction. They wouldn’t want to be in her place.

The HM are finally left into the house. Brigitte is happy about the big bed. Nobbi looks like he’s freaking out. He insisted that disrupting his facial routine wasn’t a good idea and it would be hard for him. The HM are surprised that there isn’t a kitchen.

Some of the guys set the table and start to get ready to eat. All of the HM sit down and eat.

It’s been less than an hour that Terri has left the house and Ben is busy doing some damage control. David says to not take it to heart.

Ben’s the first to go into the diary room to talk with BB. He says that originally he was pretty angry, but he’s mellowed somewhat since. He says that the nominations were pretty hypocritical. Now, he’s more angry at himself.

Nobbi and Saxon are talking in the garden. Nobbi says that Alice and Rory will hook up. Nobbi says that he’s not attracted to any girls here. Saxon says that Rebecca and Brigitte are sexy. Rebecca and Brigitte are talking about hair extensions.

Ben is wary of David for nominating him. Nobbi says that he doesn’t get along with David because he’s overly nice. Saxon agrees. They haven’t figured him out. They don’t know if he’s acting or real. Saxon says that Ben is struggling a bit.

Ben joins Nobbi and Saxon in the yard. Nobbi tries to make him feel better. Ben says that he is wary of David. He was nice with everybody. Speaking of the devil, he joins them.
