Well it looks like I’ve gone from an XL or L to a size S again. I don’t remember the last time that I bought shirts in that size. I can actually wear fitted shirts once more. I bought a North Face Flight Series Veloci Tee, and Eider Drycore Dakot M and Aigle Actimum Benbow (anti-bacterial, dry fast, UV control) t-shirts. All were size S.My wife had bought me an Esprit short sleeved shirt that was size M and it fit me well. I didn’t think that size S would be the same way, but I guess it does. I was getting tired of the baggy t-shirts that I have, that no longer fit me, even though I bought them last year.
I’m pretty happy about this.
Tonight, I’ll run my big run of the week. I’ve counted that I’ve run 26 km this week. Pretty cool. The only things that are bothering me are my right knee, which is a bit sore, and my left heel. My twisted foot has had no problems really. That’s because I don’t do any jumping or sprinting. I just do jogging.
Yesterday, I had a thin crust 10″ pizza from La Pizza. I had a kiwi and ananas iced smoothie. That was pretty darn good. To finish things off for breakie/lunch, I had an apple pear. In the evening, I had some grapes. Before that, I had three eggs with sliced ham and onions, with some bean sprouts and some blue cheese.
I didn’t feel it at all last night. The run from the night before had taken it’s toll. What I love is that my muscles aren’t sore anymore, it’s my joints. From what I have read, I’ll have to change shoes. That’s what it means. Or it’s simply that I’m running a lot more. I’m expecting to run between 6.5km and 9.75 km tonight.
