Heroes was one of the few runaway hits of the last few years. It’s extremely popular and has a large fanbase, transcending the comic book genre on which it is based. The plot revolves around the so-called Heroes trying to save the world from destruction. Their lives become intertwined as they struggle. Some characters are able to travel to the past and into the future, changing the stories as they unfold.

I’ve waited till the end of the semester to catch up on the episodes. I have to say that I am disappointed. The 3rd season isn’t really good. The dialogue sucks and pretty much everything is predictable.
Bad and getting worse, that’s what I like to say about this show. Hopefully, the next volume, Fugitives, will be a bit better.

Noah to Gabe
The story starts out with Hiro and Claire. It’s funny because Hiro doesn’t speak English anymore. He still thinks that he is 10 years old. Future-Hiro sees Past-Hiro’s mom. His mom is ill. She is dying tonight. They must make arrangements for the Catalyst before it is lost forever. They argue over what to do with Claire. Hiro’s mom can bring things back to life or cure them. Claire thinks that she has to follow herself and make sure that Noah doesn’t inject the Catalyst. Hiro has to make his mom heal his brain.
Sylar is in Costa Verde. Arthur calls him. Sylar isn’t going to help him anymore. He’s got a whole new list of people with abilities to kill. Elle is dead. He burns her body.
Angela tells Pete and the Haitian that they need to kill Arthur with one shot to the back of the head.
Nate comes to see Arthur. He’s surprised to see Tracy there. Nate says that he is taking over Pinehearst. Arthur needs him. Tracy and Nate talk while Knox and Flint watch them. Tracy does her spiel. She shows them the new abilities candidates. Some US Marines. Nate briefs them.
Sandra comes back with baby Claire at her place. Future-Claire helps Sandra out.
In the present, it’s Sue Landers’ presenet. Sylar delivers a package. She’s a human lie detector. He takes her abilities. The unrepentant Sylar is back. Three people walk in and they are going to die.
Hiro, Parkman and Daphne arrive in Manhattan. They want to find the messenger. Parkman reads his mind. The guy goes to get them. He actually dupes them and tries to get away. It’s no problem since Daphne is fast. She gets the sketches.
16 years ago, Hiro’s father assumes that Future-Hiro is the cook. He’s making a mess. He overhears his parents talking again about the light. His mom wants to give it to him, but his father disagrees. He wants to give it to Claire. Bennet comes home. He isn’t happy to find Future-Claire watching Baby Claire. Her lies don’t fly. Noah knows that Future-Claire is lying.
Future-Claire tries to interfere. She wants to stop Noah from taking the call from the Company and injecting Baby-Claire with the Catalyst. He doesn’t take the call. I think that Noah realized that Future-Claire was Claire.
Future-Hiro brings his mom some waffles. He tells her that she is his mom. He tells her about his problem with his memories. She tries to heal him. It works. He wants the catalyst. She starts to glow and touches him. Hiro glows as well. His mother dies.
Sylar leaves the office covered in blood.
Parkman, Daphne and Ando start to read the sketchbook. It starts with Hiro lost in time. Claire in the past. Hiro comes to see her. Arthur arrives. He takes the catalyst and Hiro’s powers. He throws Hiro over the railing. He wants Claire to deliver a message to Angela. It’s over. He won. Hiro is still alive, holding onto a pole. How did he end up in the past? Arthur comes to see Suresh. He gives out the catalyst. The formula is perfected.
Peter and the Haitian arrive at Pinehearst. Arthur goes to meet him. Arthur’s powers are nullified. Arthur doesn’t think that Pete can pull the trigger. The Haitian is having trouble with holding Arthur. Pete shoots and Gabe stops the shot. He now knows that Arthur isn’t his father. Gabe lets the bullet go. Arthur gets one in the head. Gabe leaves. Arthur’s body glows. The light is leaving him. The Haitian goes after Sylar.
Meanwhile the first Marine gets his injection. He’s got super strength.
