Heroes was one of the few runaway hits of the last few years. It’s extremely popular and has a large fanbase, transcending the comic book genre on which it is based. The plot revolves around the so-called Heroes trying to save the world from destruction. Their lives become intertwined as they struggle. Some characters are able to travel to the past and into the future, changing the stories as they unfold.

I’ve waited till the end of the semester to catch up on the episodes. I have to say that I am disappointed. The 3rd season isn’t really good. The dialogue sucks and pretty much everything is predictable.
This episode marks a new low point in the terrible and dreary dialogue between the characters. I’ve quoted a few that I remembered, which are especially bad. Hope you enjoy those!

Claire is at the hospital for the first time. She has a lot of infections. Sylar and Elle are having sex. Noah shoots at them. Noah gets Elle on the hip. Sandra calls Noah. Claire’s system in infected. The police has been called. He says he will be right there. He tracks Elle and Sylar to a junkyard. They are in a store. Sylar is tending to Elle’s wound. Elle wants them to set a trap. He thinks better and saves her by putting her on a elevator. He jumps Noah. Bennet beats him up. Elle comes back up with the elevator. Noah grabs a knife. Noah cuts his throat. Noah leaves. Gabriel bleeds out.
Claire isn’t doing well. The cops arrive to talk with Sandra. Claire is coding. She’s gone into septic shock. They have to crack her chest. They use the paddles.
Nate is chained to a wall. Two women are there. Samedi comes in and spouts some nonsense. He sells them into sexual slavery. The Haitian and Peter save the girl and tie up Samedi. They free Nate. Pete will hold off Samedi’s gang with the AK 47 while Nate and the Haitian get away.
Suresh is at Pinhearst. Arthur wants to know why they lost their powers. He tries to get away and beats up Flint.
Daphne has cerebral palsy. Daphne thinks that Arthur is to blame. Hiro and Ando try to find out what happened by reading the back issues of 9th Wonders! Matt comes to find them. There was an eclipse the day that everything changed. Once the eclipse is over, their powers will return. Hiro doesn’t want to grow up.
The eclipse is about to end. Claire looks dead. Gabriel as well. Peter is about to die. The powers return. Claire heals up. She comes back to life. She hasn’t been dead long enough. Parkman arrives at Daphne’s place. She’s already gone. Parkman notices that his powers are back. He hears Daphne’s thoughts as well. He tracks her down. She isn’t far. She’s the corn fields talking to a scarecrow named Ray. She made him when she was 13. She regrets stealing the formula. He tells her that she came here to set something right. She goes up and hugs her dad.
Samedi mobilizes his men. Peter starts to fire. Peter doesn’t really know how to shoot. He empties his mag shooting on full auto. The Haitian and Nate up from behind and take out the men. Samedi walks up. Oh man, the dialogue stucks so bad in this episode.
-This isn’t your fight.
-You made it my fight.

After Nate hurls himself at Samedi, the Haitian takes out his brother.
Suresh wants to talk with Maya. He arrives at her place but he leaves when he sees that his powers have returned.
Ando and Seth Green are talking to Hiro to get him out of the bathroom. They find a clue in one of the issues. He has to take Claire back to a place so that he gets his memories back. He vanishes. Claire is in her bed.
-I needed you and you weren’t there again.
-I’m sorry, there was something I had to do.
-There’s always something that you have to do or something more important.
-Listen, the day that I was assigned to protect you…
-That’s right, I’m just an assignment.
-Claire, you know that it’s not true.
-I died.
-You died? When?
-It matters.
Dreary dialogue between Noah and Claire.
Sylar and Elle arrive. They are here to take Claire away. Noah tells Gabe that Arthur and Angela aren’t his parents. They are manipulating him. Elle knows this because she helped make him as such. Noah tells Sylar that Elle knows that he killed her father. Sylar starts cutting. Hiro appears and teleports Sylar away. He does the same for Elle. He comes back for Claire.
Parkman and Daphne arrive at the comic book store and find that Hiro is gone. Seth Green says that one more 9th Wonders story exists. The day that he died, Isaac Mendez bequeathed his sketchbook to a humble bike messenger. If they find the book, they find the last story.
The Haitian brings the girls back home. Nate wants to go back to Pinehearst. He thinks that Arthur is right. What a bunch of crap. Nate leaves Pete in Haiti. He flies off.
Arthur is watching over Flint. Flint is in a coma. Suresh is back. He looks like the monster that he will soon be.
Sylar and Elle are on a deserted island. Elle denies that she knows anything about Gabe’s parents. They kiss again. Gabe says that they will never change, they are damaged goods. He cuts Elle open.
Hiro and Claire arrive. They see Noah getting Claire from Hiro’s father. Hiro is there. This is Manhattan, 16 years ago.
