I have to say that the season premiere of Sanctuary impressed me quite a bit. From on online show, Sanctuary has developed a lot. The show has a lot more money poured into it. Plus, the story is just getting interesting, with Magnus and her acolytes fighting the Cabal.
The premiere impressed me enough to want to write something up for it. I watched all of last season while it was being aired, and I really enjoyed where the end of the season was heading. The Sanctuary is a place where all abnormals can go to seek Sanctuary from the modern world. Abnormals come in all different types, from vampires to Yeti. I know that it sounds a bit stupid, but the show matured well into its new TV format, especially towards the end of last season.
This season is no different. Well, actually it is, but things just keep getting better. We’ve got a dark conspiracy, a kidnapped daughter that’s been brainwashed, and the Sanctuary team trying to right wrongs.

Ashley disintegrated herself by teleporting out of the shielded area in Sanctuary. Magnus fantasizes that John brings back Ashley.
Will is picking up 20 containers of abnormals. He thought he was picking up 20 abnormals.
The Yeti is trying to comfort Magnus. Henry is concerned about Magnus. She is still grieving and not taking care of business. Will comes to see Kate. She’s about to leave. Will tells her that she can stay if she wants to. She decides to stay. She doesn’t want to outstay her welcome.
Magnus is having flashbacks of her past. Will tries to muscle his way through the Yeti to talk to Magnus. She tells him that she isn’t mourning anything yet. She believes that Ash is still alive. The EM field was unstable when Ash teleported. Magnus thinks that Ash got through. She needs Will to be his emotional compass.
Kate sees that Magnus had some bodies of some extremely rare abnormals imported from the Beijing Sanctuary. The tusks are extremely valuable. She isn’t aware that there is something alive in there. The dead female steno was carrying a baby. She tells Henry and the Yeti. The Yeti isn’t fooled by Kate.
Magnus says that death is like the cornfield in Field of Dreams. John tells Magnus that Nikola and him are killing off the rest of the Cabal.
Kate tries to tell Henry, Dr. Lee, and the Yeti that the Steno isn’t going to go for snares or bamboo. They should try to use burgers, which is what it went after the first time.
Magnus is now convinced that Ash is in the Sanctuary, disorientated and lost. The Steno gets outside through the vents. Kate offers her help in exchange for a set of the tusks from the female. They found trace of the Steno, but it’s already gotten bigger. It’s chowed down for some burgers.
Magnus’ scanner finds something. It’s a body. It’s not Ash. Magnus now thinks that Ash is trapped in the EM field’s buffer. Will thinks that she is losing it, but lets her continue her search.
Kate and Henry get into a sewer. The Steno finds Kate. It’s quite big and threatening. They end up in its nest. It didn’t kill Kate and took her jeans. The Steno thinks that Kate is its mother. It licks her face. It’s kind of cute.
In the past, Magnus returns a shaman’s ashes to his tribe. They gave her a necklace. They haven’t found anything in the EM field. Magnus says that the memorial service will be tomorrow.
Kate doesn’t take the tusks and decides to stick around with the Steno.
Dana Whitcombe is being stalked by John in France or in Italy. She’s about to die or help John make a clone of Ash.
