Why I Don’t Use My Nikon D700

This interesting article appeared on Wired today. While I definitely want to get a GF1, it will never replace my DSLR. While this post is good, it doesn’t really go into the details why the Nikon D700 was left untouched, other than a small caveat at the end of this article. Ah well, at least they are quite cheaper in Taiwan, around ~$700-800USD.

That post is a joke, the writer is probably an amateur shooting full auto

I agree. It is a joke. Some amateurs just have money to burn to buy DSLRs when they don’t really need them.

For now, I’m happy with my D200. I’ll upgrade to a full frame D800 if it comes out. Once you get used to the weight of a DSLR, it’s fine.
