Chuck is an American science-fiction television program created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an “average computer-whiz-next-door” who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend Bryce Larkin, a rogue CIA agent, which happens to embed the world’s greatest spy secrets into his brain. This is called the intersect.
From the Wikipedia entry on Chuck.
While Chuck has to deal with his new situation, he gets to enjoy the company of Sarah, working for the CIA, and Casey, working for the DOD. They use him as an asset to accomplish their missions, which surprisingly happen around town (?).
Chuck has just started its third season and it’s still entertaining. The mix between an everyday guy and espionage doesn’t get boring, since the character of Chuck actually puts us in these situations as well. I recommend it, though it’s not for everybody.
Warning: Spoilers ahead.

Casey was part of an A-Team and they’ve come back to haunt him after he locked away a fortune in Iranian gold.

In Iran in 1999, Casey was working with a crack team of soldiers. They find a bunch of gold bars. The team turns on Casey because they want the gold. Casey disarms them all and sets the explosives. He tells them that they’ll have fun in Leavenworth, one of the US’ military prisons.
Alex turns up to see Morgan. They are dating. Morgan hasn’t told Casey yet.
Sarah and Chuck are looking at the files from Costa Brava. Volkoff’s extraction specialists are Casey’s former comrades in arms. They escaped the stockade. These guys might know where to find his mom. Chuck wants to stage Casey’s funeral. They need his handprint to access an Iranian vault filled with gold. Chuck briefs the General. She gives the mission a go.
Devon and Ellie tell Chuck that they are expecting a girl.
Morgan is giving Casey’s eulogy. The only people who have shown up are the agents that Chuck planted. Casey’s old crew shows up as well. They each test if Casey is really dead with a pin and a cigar. They manage to get the body quite easily enough. They blew a hole through the floor.
The crew is about to chop Casey’s hand off. He’s starting to regain some faculties, but he’s still partially paralyzed. He manages to escape, but not before Packard injects him with some more of the drug. It turns out that Lester and Jeff picked up Casey. Jeff calls Morgan, Morgan calls Chuck, and Chuck gets trapped in a laser booby-trap at the warehouse. Packard and his boys turn up. One of them is a total moron. He needs Casey’s driver’s license to pinpoint where Casey lives.
For some reason, Morgan puts a stormtrooper helmet on his face. Alex comes by. Morgan makes her leave. He tells Morgan that they are taking Casey’s friends on a gold digging trip. He’s got 24 hours to show up.
Devon tells Morgan to scare Casey or make him angry. Morgan tells him that he’s dating Alex. It makes him angry enough to get out of paralysis.
The crew tells Chuck that Frost is their boss, she’s not a prisoner. They tell them that she’s Volkoff’s right hand. Morgan and Casey head to Iran to save them. It blunders. They all get captured. Morgan saves the day by electrocuting the bad guys and himself.
Morgan throws a party. Alex shows up. She talked to her dad. Casey fixed things up.
You break her heart, I’ll break your everything.
Casey
Chuck’s mom calls him.
