How long will it take Hank to mess things up with Karen? Not very long. Hank’s usual nice disposition doesn’t win him any favorites when he tries to talk his way out of a warning. He just gets arrested.
I enjoyed the whole first series. I enjoyed the second series as well. Even though some critics were against some of the more controversial scenes, I enjoyed them. It paints an interesting picture of the life of Hank Moody and his messed up life. Hank has been a real asshole in the past, but at the end of it all he’s a good man. If you thought that the second season was going to be any less controversial, think again. This time, it’s mouth rape. The third season starts smoothly enough.

Hank is in Karen’s good graces for a little while, until he has to tell Becca the truth about his ‘suicide attempt’. Becca makes him tell Karen, which messes everything up. Once again, she doesn’t want anything to do with him.

Frank wakes up in the hospital. He just had his stomach pumped. Karen comes to see him. They have a bit of fun.
Hank is back in his bed. Karen is very nice to him. Hank apologizes for everything to Karen. He hasn’t got the balls to tell her that he didn’t try to commit suicide. She believes he did. They kiss. It didn’t take her long to relent.
Charlie tells Hank that Stu wants him back on the screenplay. He’s paying Hank out of his own pocket. Charlie says that the money is tied up somewhere.
Stu comes to see Runkle at Marcie’s place. He asks her out for drinks.

Hank goes to see Becca play on the boardwalk. She’s still distant with him. She wants to move out.
Runkle finally goes to see Stu. Stu offers one of the girls that works for him as an exchange for Marcie. She gives him a BJ and suggests that he gets some manscaping. She wants him to fuck her from behind so that she can reply to some emails. That’s pretty messed up. Runkle comes almost immediately. She leaves right after.
Some girls try to steal some of Becca’s money and she delivers a beat down. They want her to join her band. Back home, Becca is pissed at Hank for trying to kill himself. He tells her that he didn’t try to kill herself. When Karen arrives, Becca wants him to tell the truth. Becca tells Karen the truth. Karen doesn’t want him around anymore.
Hank checks into a hotel and starts writing the screenplay.
