Once Upon a Time title card via Wikipedia
It comes to me as no surprise that another network has a fairytale-based show. NBC has Grimm and ABC has Once Upon a Time.
More money was injected into the ABC show. I like the ABC show a lot better. Grimm is more of a Supernatural/Buffy the Vampire Slayer clone. The main character in Grimm basically learns that he comes from a family of slayers. It’s kind of been done before. Once Upon a Time reminds me of The Neverending Story mixed in with some fairytales. It’s not something that I’ve seen before on network TV, and it’s kind of refreshing. Granted, some of the themes have been explored before, but it’s pretty decent, at least from the pilot.

Ozzy comes up with this inane scheme of going to Redemption Island in order to take out Christine. It’s kind of stupid in my opinion, but Cochran, who’s blunder during the challenge once again made him a target, is happy to make this happen. I can appreciate gameplay, but this is a new level of stupid. Even if it works, it’s really insane. He also had to give his immunity idol to Cochran before he left. The smart thing would be if Ozzy was evicted the next time around. Naturally, there might be another 3 days before the merge, so he weakened his tribe and will have to play against one of his tribe mates during the duel. If it’s Cochran, it might be worthwhile, but still. I don’t think anyone else would have come up with this scheme. It’s way too risky.

It’s eviction time and I think that Faye will get evicted. She was one of the replacement nominees for Jem, who walked out of the BBUK house. A brand new vote started up when they were nominated.
Faye wakes up in a good mood. Faye and Aaron snuggle and kiss in bed. Tom says that out of all of the HM, he’ll miss Aaron the most. He’ll cry. Alex notices a hole in her shoe. Then she says that they are 2 sizes to small. Harry is flabbergasted. Why does she buy shoes that don’t fit? Alex says that she liked them.
Jem has been tossing and turning all night. She’s supposed to finally leave the BBUK house. Good riddance!
Harry is annoyed by the whole rigamarole. Lou wants her to stay.
So tonight, Jem will walk out of the house. Aaron hasn’t budged today. He’s still in bed. Last night, Alex and Tom hooked up a bit under the covers.
Jay is trying to talk Aaron out of leaving. He tells Faye that he’s a bit numb and doesn’t know what to think.
It’s nominations day! The BBUK is nervous. There is a twist. Today, the noms will be made on the HM’s behalf by the people closest to them. I don’t know if I like it.
Jem thinks that HM will vote randomly. She’s an idiot. Aaron thinks that Jem is winding people up, so she is going to be nominated.
The silence has fallen, but not for Doctor Who, but for the BBUK HM.
Jem is liking all of the attention she’s getting, and even though she feels better, she tells the HM that she is on the fence.
Aaron tells Faye that Jay and Lou were at it last night. Jay is reporting what happened in the diary room. He’s being evasive about the details.
Don’t Jem and Faye realize that they look like idiots with their animal toques? They are about 20 years too old for this to look cute.
Aaron got into Faye’s bed last night. Tom passes a comment to Jem the next morning. Tom says that Faye looks silly. Jem agrees. Tom feels bad for Aaron, because it’s a bit of a headfuck. He doesn’t know whether Faye is coming or join. Tom makes Jay some breakfast. Jem comes to complain to Jay about Faye.
There must have not much going on in the BBUK house because most of the daily show is a recap of the week. That’s kind of annoying.
BB told Tom to make Harry angry to win his girlfriend’s letter. He puts paint all over the t-shirt that Harry made to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday.
