Well I finally started running again, and it didn’t feel too bad. I started late as usual with a speed walk with Spike in tow. The poor little Frenchie can’t really do much running, but a quick speed walk is right up his alley. He also needs to lose a bit of weight.
The run took 30:36:4 and I covered 3.92 km. My average pace was 7:59/km, BPM was 159 with a peak of 171. During the run, I took three breaks. One at 1.5km, one at 2.16km and one at 3.11 km. They were short and I felt good enough to start again. I had a stitch during most of the run, it was mild. I also had a bit of pain in my right leg/knee, though I expected this.
Overall, it wasn’t bad. It’s been about 2 months since my last run. I thought that it would have been longer, but that’s OK. I weighed myself after the run and my scale said 82.5kg. That surprised me.
