Vincent Van Dominogh’s Starry Night: Falling Skies

If there’s one painting that I’m obsessed about, it’s Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night. If the iPad app wasn’t enough for you, check out FlippyCat’s project, that he aptly named Vincent Van Dominogh’s Starry Night. It kind of makes sense that he used dominoes because their movement seems to capture the movement of the wind in the painting.

The last time I regularly watched the news was quite a long time ago. It was probably more than a decade ago, when I had cable and a TV. I haven’t had either for a long time. I had also gotten tired of watching biased and partisan American news, from the big networks including CNN. I never was a fan of FOX news. Most of the time, I watched the BBC World News, which I found less biased and it had better coverage of world events.

The Porsche 911 Bicycle: Faster Than A Speeding Bullet?

I’ve never been a fan of those car company branded bikes, like BMW and Ferrari, but this design is kind of interesting since it’s supposed to be made not just for looks, but for speed. It was created by the Netherlands-based designer Bastiaan Kok and was inspired by the Porsche 911.
