Piccolo CNC Drawing Bot: Budding Robotic Artist

Would you expect anyone to be able to assemble a drawing robot for less than $70? Well, the Diatom design studio, run by Tiago Rorke and Greg Saul, collaborated with Cheng Xu and Huaishu Peng of the CMU CoDe Lab to create this pocket-sized robot kit. They’ve named it Piccolo.

DIY Tacit Haptic Glove: Now You Can Be Like Daredevil

Being visually impaired or blind isn’t something easy to deal with, but hopefully with future tech like this haptic glove, it will get easier. MIDI Hats Make Music While Looking Ridiculous

When I first saw these things, I honestly didn’t know what to say, but you get used to ridiculous headgear pretty quickly around here. These MIDI hats were designed by Sunny Oh and Anna Obikane, and allow you to make music. Ridiculous or genius, I have trouble deciding which it is.

DOTKLOK: Digital Clocks Go Open Source

This cool clock is the DOTKLOK and it’s an open source digital clock that can display the time with many different animations. The best part is that it’s totally hackable, not that I’d have the time to do this, but it’s nice to have that option.
