Ebola Virus 3D Model: Staring Death in the Face

Made famous by its deadliness, the Ebola virus was first described in 1976. It was made famous by The Hot Zone by Richard Preston and some small epidemics that thankfully didn’t kill off most of the planet. While it never reached the epidemic levels feared, it’s still interesting to check out the intricacies of this 3D model of the deadly virus.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine Helmet – There’s Paper Under There

This amazing-looking Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Terminator helmet was created by Shawn Thorsson, and it’s hard to believe, but it started off as a papercraft model. I knew that you could do many things with paper, but this has to be one of the most ingenious ways of creating amazing props.

Duct Tape, Cardboard and Sharpie AT-AT: Awesome.

While I think it’s really cool that someone made a duct tape/sharpie AT-AT, I find it a bit ridiculous that it’s currently being sold on eBay with a starting bid of $400. Still, it’s an AT-AT made out of duct tape, so I can’t complain too much.
