Heroes Ink S04E03 (NBC)

Heroes was one of the few runaway hits of the last few years. It’s extremely popular and has a large fanbase, transcending the comic book genre on which it is based. The plot revolves around the so-called Heroes trying to save the world from destruction. Their lives become intertwined as they struggle. Some characters are able to travel to the past and into the future, changing the stories as they unfold.

Volume 3 and Volume 4 were really bad. I hate to say this, but I think that this show is close to being canceled. I can’t see it being renewed for another season, unless it improves dramatically in this season.

Kings Goliath & Prosperity S01E01-02 (NBC)

Kings is based on the Biblical story of King David. Initially, the pilot received some good reviews, but ultimately it fared badly rating-wise.

I found it initially interesting. The premise is pretty good. It’s set in an alternate universe, where the US is ruled by an absolute monarchy. King Silas has problems all around him. His gay son isn’t a leader, just a failure, his backers continually want war and his kingdom is once again facing war. Suddenly, David appears on the scene. He saves Jack, Silas’ son, and makes his way into the new city of Shiloh with a bang.

Silas has got his own plans on what to do with David, although they are rapidly taking on a life of their own. It looks life God favors David to be the next King.

Bionic Woman Has Been Canceled
