HTC has been criticized for years for bringing out smartphones that were too thick, something that the company even admitted themselves. This has changed in the last two years, and HTC has just released one of the best-looking Android phones I’ve come across. How will the new HTC One fare when compared with the competition?

If you thought that the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note II wasn’t big enough for your needs, then you’ll be happy to learn that the Samsung Galaxy Mega takes it up a few notches with its 6.3-inch screen, begging the question – when does a phablet simply become a tablet? I guess when it doesn’t make phone calls.

After a long period of speculation, we finally know about the “Facebook phone”. In fact, it’s not really a dedicated Facebook phone at all, but a custom build of Android which has a special Facebook home screen. While I’m no power-Facebook user, I can imagine that people using Facebook a lot will enjoy this new offering.

No matter what smartphone you have, at some point in time, even if you’ve got a 2,300 mAh battery, you’ll end up needing a juice up. While there are plenty of battery cases available, these kinds of products quickly become obsolete once the format of your smartphone changes. That’s one of the reasons why having an external battery makes a lot of sense.

Once you start accumulating multiple mobile gadgets, it’s probably time to get a decent stand for those times when you don’t want to hold your devices in your hand or on your lap. However, it makes no sense to have a stand for each of your mobile devices. That’s one of the reasons why this stand is really interesting, because it will cut down on the clutter on your desk, and save you the expense of multiple device-specific stands.

From time to time, I’ve had a comfortable office chair. Though when you move, change jobs, etc., chairs seem to get a lower priority than more essential things. That being said, there’s something good about having a well-designed chair, which will let you sit for hours without feeling uncomfortable.

How many times have you dropped your smartphone? I’ve dropped mine plenty of times, especially when I’m tired. Thankfully, I use a case that helps alleviate any damage that my phone might incur. I’ve always been surprised at how many phones HTC puts out every quarter. Even HTC admitted to this last year. Their new flagship smartphone is something different. It’s supposed to mix the best features of iPhones and Samsung Galaxies into one potentially killer smartphone.
