For a second there, I thought it was 9AM when it actually was 8AM.
Yesterday, I had 7 or 8 parent teacher meetings. It took up most of my day and I stayed pretty late until 6PM. I then went home, cooked a meal, ate it with the wife and then I left to tutor. I came back at around 9:30PM. I made it back by myself, without any help from the tutored child parents, so I will be able to get to their house alone on my scooter. The kids just love seeing me arrive with my layers of clothing, because of the rain, and my scarf, to protect myself against the pollution.
The whole Parent-Teacher Meeting thingie is a bit stressful. Not in itself, but it takes up time and you are always scrambing. What really stressed me was when 3 moms sat into my class. At least the kids were pretty quiet and I got through my lesson pretty nicely.
My wife and I finally watched Lost S03E02, then I watched some Family Guy before falling asleep. Because of this, I rarely check one of the most popular posts on my blog, Lost Season 3 Spoiler and Analysis.
I still have 5 episodes to catch up with on Lost, and I don’t want to spoil my fun.
At the last count, I had around 1300 photos now on my Zooomr account. The upload software works pretty well. You just start an upload before you go to bed and it takes care of itself.

The Kindergarten kids are going to the Taipei City Zoo next week and I have got to go. I still have to figure out how I will be able to cover my 4th grade classes during that day. Most of the parents that I met are very happy with me, which is pretty good. They just love how organized I am, and how I let them know if there are any problems with their children.
A Chinese homeroom teacher wasn’t there at the Kindergarten, so I took over her duties for a few hours. Since I have watched and helped her for a while, I was able to do this without any problems. The teacher likes to put the girl’s hair into braids. I noticed this. Also, after a whole day, if no adult helps the babies out with their hair, they look a bit scruffy.
Now the last time that I tied any type of hair was a few years ago, when I had longer hair. It’s funny how trusting and how easy the kids fall into this. I tied two girls hair into ponytails, the best I could do. I had to do this twice, because I had to undo their hair first. To my surprise, it was a bonding experience with some of the children. I got lots of hugs after that.
