One thing that I have noticed over the last few months is that the Taiwanese do love their junk food. Whether it babies eating candy or adults eating KFC or McDonald’s, I see it everywhere.
One of the consequences of this, is that most of the children I see have terrible problems with their teeth. I have seen toddlers with so much lead in their mouths that it scared me.

If you have been following my progress on my so-called numbers game, you might know that I have set myself a goal of posting 100 posts in January 2007. This challenge was given to myself towards the end of the month, so there was not a lot of time left to get a lot of posts in. Initially, I had to write 5 posts a day.

For the past few weeks, well since the 13th of January 2007, Snap Live has been enabled all over WP.com. I thought about it a bit, forgot it. Thought about it some more and then started to find it annoying.

In preparation for our return to school, we have been going to the post-office a lot. Sending things back to Canada, sending things to Taipei. It just seems to never end.

Tonight, we got some more teaching on our plate.
I have a one and a half hour gig at our adult language school. It’s just Conversational English, so no worries. My wife is teaching an IELTS class for 3 hours.

At work and in most situations, it is always better to have a plan.
As well as a backup plan. Or a plan B. You never know what will happen.
There are so many things to consider, you can not always predict the outcome.

My day at work ended a bit early, but right aftewards, I went to Chung-Hua university, where I would be teaching my advanced English class. The students were a bit hyper on sweets and candies, but I managed to calm them down for the 2 hour lesson. From their parents, I knew that they wanted to write more. So I started by handing out my prepared material.
