CMBRT Series 1

The giant escalator at the Zhongxia-Fuxing MRT station, leading up to the Muzha MRT line which is elevated.

/*

All photos in this series were taken on the 20th of January 2007 in Taipei and Shulin in Taiwan. All photos were taken with a Nikon D200 and a 18-35mm lens. Settings: Long Exp NR On, High ISO NR On, Shooting Mode S, Exposure Mode S (2 to 5 seconds exposures).

Different views of the same escalator. The shots were a bit tricky because I just had a few seconds to take out my camera and shoot. I got 3 or 4 shots off and they turned out well.

Shots from the Nanjing E Rd. intersection. Cars and scooters streaming by.

A view of the Brother Hotel. One of the better shots of this series.

A skating rink located right in front of The Cellar, a bar, on Nanjing E Rd Sec4.

Blue illuminated trees at the skating rink.

The best shot of the skating rink.

The Mitsokoshi building right in front of Taipei Main Station. It might be spelled wrong, because I keep mixing it up with Mistusuki.

A series of taxis waiting to take us away in front of Taipei Main Station.

A strange object in the sky! No, it’s just another building right in front of Taipei Main Station.

On my way to Taipei from Shulin, I took the time to take a few pictures of the city square where the train station is located.

The inside of The Cellar.

Anna, a teacher from New York, fluent in Mandarin.

John in the background, with my wife in the foreground.
