It’s the season finale of Californication, and it ends surprisingly. The show has been very quickly renewed for a new season.
It’s the day of Karen’s wedding to Bill. Hank doesn’t think that anything will happen, other than the wedding vows. He dreamt of interfering, but he’s decided against it. Someone else intervenes, but it doesn’t stop the ceremony. Some of the details involving Mia are almost exposed to everybody, but there is a good save to keep it a secret.
Charlie and Marcy finally talk after their marital difficulties. Karen makes a surprising decision at the last moment.
I enjoyed this whole series. Even though some critics were against some of the more controversial scenes, I enjoyed them. It paints an interesting picture of the life of Hank Moody and his messed up life. Hank has been a real asshole in the past, but at the end of it all he’s a good man.
Warning: Spoilers ahead.

It’s a hilarious situation, almost unbelievable. The woman’s husband cleans up Hank after the scuffle.

Hank arrives and is accosted by a stoned Marcy. He goes to see Karen. He gives her some encouragement. During the ceremony, a drunk Mia tries to speak slurringly out. Hank comes over and tries to take Mia away. She blurts out that they screwed. She then does a retraction.
Becca sings with her band at the wedding. Her voice sounds like a kid and is annoying. She can’t really sing. Becca tells her dad that he is tragically flawed but has a good heart. Mia cuts in and tells him that she will publish his book. What a bitch!
