Power Nap

I took a power nap today.

I went to bed at around 1:30AM. As usual, I got up at 7:30AM. It wasn’t enough. Today is my busiest day, so I only had an hour and half between classes at lunch.

Doctor Who The Voyage of the Damned 2005 S04E00 (BBC)

As usual with the new series of Doctor Who, there is a Christmas special. This special feature length episode usual bridges the gap between seasons and is a good way to resolve cliffhangers.

With the Doctor Who franchise encompassing The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood, on top of the main series, there is a lot of Doctor Who available for fans. I believe that the Doctor has never been this popular. A new K-9 show for kids will air on Australian television in July 2008.

Christmas Problems With Scooters

Yesterday morning, my scooter broke down. On Christmas day. It wasn’t the start of the day that I’d expected. My scooter had been acting funny the day before. I’d have to continually rev it so that the engine didn’t choke. After a few hours, it was behaving normally again.

Driving In The Rain

I hate driving in the rain.

I no longer get that wet, since I got some decent rain gear, but it just sucks. You can’t drive as fast, traction is really bad and there are a lot of stupid scooter drivers out there.

With a recent scooter, you can almost disregard the rain. I saw a few guys driving like it was dry. But with an older one, there is always something that isn’t completely right. Either it’s the brakes, the tyres or some strange feeling in the motor, like water got into it somehow.

Moonlight Sleeping Beauty S01E10 (CBS)

It’s been a while since there has been a vampire show on TV. Angel was just a continuation of Buffy. Blade was an action show. Moonlight is somewhere in between. It’s gritty and romantic, which isn’t appalling. Unlike Angel and Forever Knight, Mick St-John isn’t that old of a vampire, so the flashbacks all take place in the 1950s to 1970s.
