Actually, it wasn’t that bad.
But I was all over the place. My day started at 6:30AM. I arrived home at 8PM. I taught 7 hours today.
I wasn’t productive as I would have liked today though.
I worked all day yesterday on my Teaching College Math class. I’m up to date in that class. My end of term project is almost finished as well. I’m about 30% complete on my Numerical Linear Algebra assignment. I’ve got a few days left. I’ll power through.
However I did accomplish a few things.
First of all, I was recognized as a Quebec resident. This means that I pay 1300$ for a semester instead of 2400$. That’s cool. I got my Quebec health card issue sorted out. My health card is expiring this weekend. I decided that I’ll deal with my driver’s license in September.
The woman at the service counter at the RAMQ was extremely helpful and nice. It took me about 7 minutes to go through the motions. All I had to do was to sign, get a digital photo taken and pay 8$. I’ll receive it in the mail in 7-10 days. That’s sweet. I was told that it could take 4-5 weeks! That was pretty painless.
The woman at the registrar’s office wasn’t as nice, but proving that I was a Quebec resident took about 8 minutes. It was nice. Unfortunately, I forgot a folder at the registrar. I had to come back after a class was canceled. Thankfully I arrived just before they closed and they gave me my folder.
My evening class was easy. We practiced French conversation and my student is doing well.
