DIY iStand: Using Binder Clips To Make An iPhone Stand

When you are on the go and need a place to dock your iPhone, you usually don’t have a lot of choice. The best thing would be to carry around a dock, but that’s not always feasible. How about making your own cheap iPhone stand, that won’t take up a lot of space? Something small and functional that will work well in most situations. That’s what Rich set out to assemble from a few binder clips he had around. He saw something on Lifehacker and decided to improve the design.

I think you will find it a lot more convenient to buy a BatRest which fits in the credit card slot of a wallet. http://www.seskimo.com
