Chuck Versus The Three Words S03E02 (NBC)

Chuck is an American science-fiction television program created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an “average computer-whiz-next-door” who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend Bryce Larkin, a rogue CIA agent, which happens to embed the world’s greatest spy secrets into his brain. This is called the intersect.

From the Wikipedia entry on Chuck.

While Chuck has to deal with his new situation, he gets to enjoy the company of Sarah, working for the CIA, and Casey, working for the DOD. They use him as an asset to accomplish their missions, which surprisingly happen around town (?).

Chuck has just started its third season and it’s still entertaining. The mix between an everyday guy and espionage doesn’t get boring, since the character of Chuck actually puts us in these situations as well. I recommend it, though it’s not for everybody.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

The third season started a bit strangely. Chuck has been training for a while, but it isn’t really working out. He’s not able to control the Intersect. Does anyone else think that this is like controlling the Force? Maybe Chuck should get some training from a Jedi Master to calm his nerdy and horny mind.

This was another good episode. I liked the BuyMore vs the spy life for Chuck. I’m waiting for Chuck to graduate into some kind of coolness, but I guess that won’t ever happen.

Vinnie Jones is chasing some guy with a golden briefcase. He kills them. Sarah is out with her friend. Morgan and Chuck are drinking soft drinks. Morgan convinces him to go out. They run into Sarah and Karina. Karina’s fiancé is Vinnie Jones, playing Carl. Chuck flashes on Carl’s scar. He’s an arm’s dealer. He’s just her mark.

Big Mike is back at the BuyMore. While Morgan is hyping up Karina, she arrives at the BuyMore. She’s here to see Chuck not Morgan.

The General briefs the team. Miller has been working undercover playing the girlfriend of an arm’s dealer. The goal is to retrieve the golden briefcase. Casey will play Karina’s uncle.

The nerds are planning a party for Morgan. Morgan doesn’t know that Karina will be busy that night. There is a great shot of Sarah and Karina in their lingerie getting dressed. They are both pretty darn hot.

After getting rebuffed by Sarah once again, Karina tells him that Sarah has been acting strange because she loves him. He needs to get ready to be a spy instead of messing about like a loser.

Sarah and Chuck come across an elaborate security system. Chuck has to function as the Intersect in order to beat it. He manages to do so, but triggers the alarm at the last possible moment. Sarah was amazed at what he was doing, jumping around all over the place in order to avoid the lasers.

Chuck confesses his love for Sarah. The bad guys hear him do this. Sarah takes them out after taking care of them. Chuck tells her that he loves her before collapsing.

The weapon is a strange disc. The General never told her what it did. Sarah has to train Chuck.

Carl is tracking Karina. She arrives at the BuyMore and drops off the briefcase for Chuck. Carl is onto her. He corners her and captures her. They go to Chuck’s housewarming party. Morgan calls Chuck for advice about Karina. She showed up with some douchebags. Morgan idiotically interacts with Karina and hands Carl the briefcase.

Casey, Sarah, and Chuck arrive at the scene to clear out the bystanders. Chuck has got some fire and tells Casey and Sarah to drop their weapons. He ignites the alcohol. It’s enough to get Karina free and to get the weapon back.

The General is talking with someone. She wants her team to know about something but he won’t.

Morgan is in bed with Karina. She drops something off for Sarah before she leaves. It’s Chuck’s speech that he made to her in the vault. It makes her cry.
