Chuck Versus the Nacho Sampler S03E06 (NBC)

Chuck is an American science-fiction television program created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an “average computer-whiz-next-door” who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend Bryce Larkin, a rogue CIA agent, which happens to embed the world’s greatest spy secrets into his brain. This is called the intersect.

From the Wikipedia entry on Chuck.

While Chuck has to deal with his new situation, he gets to enjoy the company of Sarah, working for the CIA, and Casey, working for the DOD. They use him as an asset to accomplish their missions, which surprisingly happen around town (?).

Chuck has just started its third season and it’s still entertaining. The mix between an everyday guy and espionage doesn’t get boring, since the character of Chuck actually puts us in these situations as well. I recommend it, though it’s not for everybody.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

The third season started a bit strangely. Chuck has been training for a while, but it isn’t really working out. He’s not able to control the Intersect. Does anyone else think that this is like controlling the Force? Maybe Chuck should get some training from a Jedi Master to calm his nerdy and horny mind.

This was another good episode. Someone else developed a sort of Intersect and Chuck has to develop him as an asset.

Hannah turns up again at the BuyMore. She’s starting work as a NerdHerder.

They go to the Castle. Shaw is off on a mission. Chuck has to develop an asset. This is kind of like what Hannah has done to Chuck. The mark arrives at the BuyMore. Chuck utterly fails.

Chuck has to stake him out later at a bar. Meanwhile, Morgan wants to get busy with Kristin Kreuk aka Hannah. He buys off Lester and Jeff and asks them to stalk her for him. They find out that she’s totally out of his league, liking French movies, listening to Tchaikovsky and other stuff.

At the bar, Manoush answers his Ring phone. Casey and Sarah trace the call. Ring operatives are nearby to nab him. Sarah walks in and puts on the charm to get him into the van. She tranqs him and they wake up in “her bedroom”.

Devon is slowly freaking out about lying to Ellie. Ellie found Chuck’s baggage claim from Paris. Chuck gets out of trouble with Ellie by telling her about a flat that they can get for a real honeymoon for free.

Manoush tells Chuck that he plans on selling his device on the open market. It’s some kind of weapon. Ring take Manoush in. They thought they had the weapon, but they didn’t. Manoush is surrouned by Ring operatives. He puts on some glasses. It’s some kind of Intersect-like technology. He uploads some kind of fighting program and takes them all out.

Chuck realizes that he built a new Intersect. Manoush manages to get to Dubai for a weapon conference. He plans on selling to the highest bidder. The starting bid for his Intersect is $50 million.

Chuck and his team try to get the Intersect from Manoush, but utterly fail once again. Ring operatives arrive to take the Intersect. Manoush destroys the Intersect so that the Ring operatives don’t kill him.

There is a showdown and Chuck flashes. Chuck saves Manoush. He thinks about letting him go, and then tranqs him while Manoush is on his way out.

Casey is impressed.

Devon forbids Ellie to go to Paris thanks to Chuck’s tickets. She bumps into Morgan and they share some paranoid conspiracies.
