The WiFi-Less & Music-Less Coffee Shop In San Fransisco

You know how it is. As long as we are connected to the constant flow of information, it’s hard to get work done, especially writing. Some people compulsively check their email, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc, hundreds of times a day. That’s why the owner of the Borderlands café in San Fransisco decided to open without WiFi and without music. Also, every part of his coffee shop is well lit. The Rumpus has a short interview with him.

I check my email a few times a day. I do have a twitter tab open a lot, as well as my feed reader, but I tend to close them after hours because I associate them with work. {via the millions}
