Chuck is an American science-fiction television program created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an “average computer-whiz-next-door” who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend Bryce Larkin, a rogue CIA agent, which happens to embed the world’s greatest spy secrets into his brain. This is called the intersect.
While Chuck has to deal with his new situation, he gets to enjoy the company of Sarah, working for the CIA, and Casey, working for the DOD. They use him as an asset to accomplish their missions, which surprisingly happen around town (?).
Chuck has just started its third season and it’s still entertaining. The mix between an everyday guy and espionage doesn’t get boring, since the character of Chuck actually puts us in these situations as well. I recommend it, though it’s not for everybody.
Warning: Spoilers ahead.

The third season started a bit strangely. Chuck has been training for a while, but it isn’t really working out. He’s not able to control the Intersect. Does anyone else think that this is like controlling the Force? Maybe Chuck should get some training from a Jedi Master to calm his nerdy and horny mind.
This was another good episode though I wonder where the show will go after this. I agree that it was time for Chuck to move on, but in doing so, we lose most of the supporting cast, including Devon and Ellie. Well, it looks like they’ll be staying in LA, so there’s that. Meanwhile, Sarah and Shaw are going to be love-birds together in DC, while Chuck passes his final exam thanks to Casey and leaves for Rome. His cover is that of a billionaire playboy.

Chuck is chasing someone. He catches up with him and shoots him.
Three days earlier, Jeff and Lester were playing in the store. Casey keeps them in line. Chuck tells Casey that they need to get his job back. He’s a danger in civilian life. Chuck can’t understand why Sarah went to see Shaw in DC.
To be John Casey, not John Crazy!
Big Mike to Casey
Sarah tells Chuck that they talked about him in DC. Beckman is on the viewscreen. It has been decided that Chuck will face a penultimate test. If he passes, he will be a real spy. He will be stationed in Rome and this cover will be that of a billionaire industrialist. The team will be split up. Sarah and Shaw will be based in DC running counter-Ring operations. If Chuck fails, he will go back to his normal life.
The next morning, Chuck gets his briefing like a real agent. Some guy named Anatoly is meeting with a mole at the Cobalt hotel.
Big Mike wants Casey to change. This starts with some new clothes.
Chuck is putting together the surveillance operation. Sarah arrives a bit later. He’s got a sort of romantic date planned, but Sarah is involved with Shaw, so she doesn’t want to be involved. Chuck almost kisses Sarah, but they are interrupted by Shaw. He goes on his mission and Sarah goes back to the Castle.
Chuck finds Anatoly. The mole kills Anatoly. The mole is leaving and Chuck hasn’t seen his face yet. Chuck makes a pathetic bird noise and the mole looks at the window long enough for Chuck to see his face.
Chuck is naked outside a balcony and he becomes a real spy. The next day, Sarah asks Chuck out for dinner.
The dinner is a setup. Shaw tells Sarah that Chuck has to kill the mole. It’s Chuck Red Test. That night, Sarah tells him that Chuck is meeting Perry here tonight. He has to kill Perry.
Chuck goes after him in the bathroom. Perry attacks him and they fight. Chuck flashes but can’t do the deed. Chuck takes him out of the restaurant and Perry does a runner. Chuck runs after him. Perry falls down at the train tracks. He goes for his gun. Chuck still can’t shoot him. Luckily, Casey was there and shoots Perry over Chuck’s shoulder.
Sarah sees the evidence and Chuck is a spy. Later, Casey tells Chuck that he isn’t a killer. This is the reason why he did it.
When he comes home, Chuck finds a mission pouch waiting for him. It’s his next assignment.
Beckman gives him a briefing. He is going to DC for his immediate and final induction into the CIA. Sarah won’t take his calls anymore.
Chuck is about to leave for DC.
