Californication Another Perfect Day S04E09 (Showtime)

How long will it take Hank to mess things up with Karen? Not very long. Hank’s usual nice disposition doesn’t win him any favorites when he tries to talk his way out of a warning. He just gets arrested.

I enjoyed the whole first series. I enjoyed the second series as well. Even though some critics were against some of the more controversial scenes, I enjoyed them. It paints an interesting picture of the life of Hank Moody and his messed up life. Hank has been a real asshole in the past, but at the end of it all he’s a good man. If you thought that the second season was going to be any less controversial, think again. This time, it’s mouth rape. The third season starts smoothly enough.

Warning: Spoilers ahead and strong language.

This is just the preamble to what will happen during the trial. It doesn’t look good for Moody

Hank is kicked out of his hotel for non-payment. He owes them $25K.

The next morning, Becca finds him sleeping in his Porsche in front of her house. Karen lets him in. Becca wants to learn how to drive. Hank and Karen take her in the Porsche. Karen tells him to stay for the weekend. Karen is going out with Ben. The girls take Hank’s car while he is sleeping to go out. They total the car of course. Neither of them is hurt.

Runkle is screwing his real estate agent again. Marcy wants Runkle to come over for dinner with Stu. Runkle goes over with Peggy. Marcy finally manages to tell Runkle that she’s preggers. In the car, Peggy burns him with a cigarette lighter then gives a him BJ.

Hank and Karen reminisce and think about what will happen in the future. It’s obvious that it’s over between them. Karen has already moved on.
