How long will it take Hank to mess things up with Karen? Not very long. Hank’s usual nice disposition doesn’t win him any favorites when he tries to talk his way out of a warning. He just gets arrested.
I enjoyed the whole first series. I enjoyed the second series as well. Even though some critics were against some of the more controversial scenes, I enjoyed them. It paints an interesting picture of the life of Hank Moody and his messed up life. Hank has been a real asshole in the past, but at the end of it all he’s a good man. If you thought that the second season was going to be any less controversial, think again. This time, it’s mouth rape. The third season starts smoothly enough.

Hank meets the new lawyer, but things don’t work out and he wants Abby back. He tries to get her and may have succeeded.

Hank and Abby wake up in the bed. She tells him that she needs to recuse herself from his case.
Hank goes to see Karen. He finds Ben there as well. Ben tells Hank about a gig that the girls are having tonight. Karen didn’t want to tell him.
Stu and Marcy come to see Runkle. Stu wants to pitch a show based on Marcy, waxer to the stars. They pitch it to Showtime. Stu has IBS. Runkle saves the day. They bought the show.
Abby introduces Hank to Lloyd. He’s her boss. He’s a square. He wants to play golf to get to know the case. They make dress up. Hank drinks on the links. Lloyd makes a pass on Abby. Lloyd and Hank exchange knowing glances. When Hank takes a piss in a sandpit, Lloyd chases after him like a little kid. It’s pretty funny. Hank gets Abby back as a lawyer. Later, they screw. Once she gets her cookies, she tells him that they are not having sex anymore until his case is over.
At Becca’s gig, Ben tells Hank that he’s not screwing Karen. He’s been trying, but she isn’t ready yet.
