How long will it take Hank to mess things up with Karen? Not very long. Hank’s usual nice disposition doesn’t win him any favorites when he tries to talk his way out of a warning. He just gets arrested.
I enjoyed the whole first series. I enjoyed the second series as well. Even though some critics were against some of the more controversial scenes, I enjoyed them. It paints an interesting picture of the life of Hank Moody and his messed up life. Hank has been a real asshole in the past, but at the end of it all he’s a good man. If you thought that the second season was going to be any less controversial, think again. This time, it’s mouth rape. The third season starts smoothly enough.

Hank is found guilty of statutory rape. Hank gets shit-faced. He wakes up in Abby’s bed. He hasn’t been sentenced yet.

Hank goes to see Runkle. He finds the realtor there. Runkle hands him a check for $100K. Hank immediately buys an old Porsche. He breaks the front headlight so it matches the old one. That’s shitty. He goes to see Becca. She isn’t too happy with the fact that he’s going to jail. Hank ends up at the hotel. He meets Trixie there. He pays her to give her a massage. She tells him that jail isn’t a happy place. Hank dreams about being a perfect dad in the 50s.
Hank wakes up and goes to see Karen. He finds his family, Marcie and Runkle there throwing a party. They have dinner and smoke some weed. Hank and Karen hook up.
