The Walking Dead Bloodletting S02E02 (AMC)

The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse; it follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate USA in search of a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group’s desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of humanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace.

I don’t know what it is with the series on AMC, but they definitely have interesting ideas. This show is based upon a comic books, and I enjoyed watching the show. It reminds me of a lot of zombie movies, so it’s not revolutionary, but I did have fun.

I started watching this again on the weekend. It’s pretty good, but the pacing is quite slow. Still, it’s going to get interesting very quickly.

There’s a flashback. Lori had a fight with Rick. Shane comes to give her the news that Rick was shot.

In the present, Rick is running with Carl in his arms. The offending hunter is fat and coming as well. They come to some house where there is a doctor with some other people. The bullet broke up into six pieces. They need to be taken out. They start operating. Carl needs blood. There is internal bleeding. The doc only took out the shallowest fragment. They need surgical supplies and a respirator. There was a FEMA shelter at the high school. The shooter goes with Shane.

T-Dog has got an infection. They haven’t found any medical supplies. They need some antibiotics. They only found Ibuprofen and some other supplies, but no drugs.

On their way back, a walker attacks Andrea. All she does is scream. The girl from the house comes to save Andrea. She takes Lori with her to see Rick.

The high school is overrun with walkers.

Back at the interstate, they decide to split up the group even further. Dale and the RV are staying if Sophie shows up while Glenn and T-Dog are heading for the farm.

Shane and Otis use some flares to distract the walkers and get the supplies. They are chased and seek refuge in the high school.
