The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse; it follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate USA in search of a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group’s desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of humanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace.

I don’t know what it is with the series on AMC, but they definitely have interesting ideas. This show is based upon a comic books, and I enjoyed watching the show. It reminds me of a lot of zombie movies, so it’s not revolutionary, but I did have fun.

I started watching this again on the weekend. I’m not that impressed, ever since they have been caught at the farm. It’s actually gotten somewhat boring.

The others arrive at the farm. Carl wakes up. They have Otis’ funeral. Strange to have a funeral without a body. Shane is asked to retell what happened with Otis.

They are still looking for Sophia. Both Rick and Shane have to take rest.

Glenn and Maggie head to town to find some meds. Shane is going to drive around to try and see if Sophia is back. They also have to give up their guns.

Daryl goes out to look for Sophia alone. The old man tells Rick that once they’ve found the girl and Carl is back on their feet, he expects them to be on their way. It’s not permanent.

Dale and T-Dog find a walker in one of the wells. It’s been in there for a while. They try to take it out so that they don’t contaminate the well further, but half of it falls back into it. Then T-Dog takes care of the other part. Glenn almost fell in as they tried to retrieve it.

Maggie and Glenn have sex on their pharmacy run.

Rick asks Hershel that he needs to reconsider about asking them to leave. Hershel says that if they obey his rules, then he’ll consider it.

Lori asked Glenn to get her something. Glenn gets it for her. Then, she goes into the night alone. It’s a pregnancy test. She’s preggers with Shane’s kid.
