The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse; it follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate USA in search of a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group’s desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of humanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace.
I don’t know what it is with the series on AMC, but they definitely have interesting ideas. This show is based upon a comic books, and I enjoyed watching the show. It reminds me of a lot of zombie movies, so it’s not revolutionary, but I did have fun.
Warning: spoilers ahead
I have to agree with the criticisms that this show has faced over its second season. It’s like the writers didn’t really know where to take it and they let the characters spends episode after episode with the Hershels. That and the unfruitful search for Sophia really got to me. At least they found the little bitch in this episode, and lo and behold, she’s a zombie.

Glenn tells everyone about the walkers in the barn. They check it out. Shane wants to leave or take care of the walkers. Their argument is agitating the walkers.
Dale asks Andrea about Shane again, like a meddling old fool.
When Rick comes to talk to Hershel about the walkers in the barn, Hershel tells him that they need to leave by the end of the week. He pleads with Hershel not to send them away.
Holy crap, WTF. That will be the end of this frigging shit. They freaking need to leave that dumb ass farm ASAP. They’ve been stuck there for so long. The show has gotten progressively worse. ∞ x WTF.
Shane discovers that all of the guns are gone. Dale took them. He’s hiding them in the woods. Shane finds them quickly enough and brings them back.
Hershel asks Rick’s help to “rescue” some walkers. WTF.
Glenn finally makes some headway wooing Maggie. She lies that he was looking out for her.
When Shane comes back, he shows Hershel that the walkers are dead not alive. Then, he breaks down the door of the barn and lets the walkers out. They take them all down. They find Sophia in there as well. She’s a walker.
Finally, they found that little bitch. WTF. Took them long enough. Rick takes out his .44 and ends her undead life.
