The US Department of Defense has been developing pills that will protect humans from radiation. The pills are named Ex-Rad and were developed by Onconova Therapeutics in conjunction with the DoD.

    A growing number of employers in the United States are providing personal dosimetry badges to their employees to monitor their exposure to what is low level radiation (in nuclear terms) but could give rise to claims of negligence. These badges provide ongoing monitoring to protect staff and employers.
