Nerfing Festival of the Lost Was Stupid

Last week, Festival of the Lost launched. It’s different enough to make people play, but there are some elements that I didn’t agree with. Swiftly as they could, by Thursday, reset was on Tuesday, Bungo had nerfed the most efficient farming methods to acquire Spectral Pages, which were Wrathborn Hunts, Expunges, and the current nightfall, The Lake of Shadows. That royally sucked, because when I went back to play on the weekend, the best way to acquire Spectral Pages was to do public events in the EDZ. FML.

Just like many people, I just don’t get why Bungie had to nerf the farming of Spectral Pages for the Festival of the Lost. It was such a dick move. It made finishing up the quest so much longer than it should have been. Now that I’ve finished it, I’m kind of annoyed because instead of doing trials or GMs, I was doing this shit.

The actual Haunted Lost Sectors aren’t too bad. They get quite chaotic, but it’s no big deal. You just need to make sure you get shots in on all of the knights when they spawn in. I’ve gotten plenty of Jurassic Green, the reissued 540 kinetic pulse that drops from the activity, but no god roll. The god roll would be accurized/high caliber rounds, rangefinder/MKC. It’s the only rapid fire pulse that can roll rangefinder, making it quite unique. However, I have to say that I prefer Darkest Before by far. It’s a better gun in all facets. A max range roll would be spicy though.
