99 Francs

Just saw the French movie 99 Francs with Jean Dujardin. It’s excellent. There is a song from The Choir of All Saints, a Melanesian choir, which is sublime. I listened to it five times. It’s called God Yu Tekkem Laef Blong Mi.

The song is available on a CD featuring chants from the movie the Thin Red Line.

The chanting has started again. Every Sunday, the neighbors from another building get together and chant, what I think is, Christian chants in Mandarin. It’s never loud enough to wake me, but I do hear it when I’m up and about the apartment.

It’s not displeasing to hear I have to admit. Buddhist chants bother me even less.
