While I have trouble imagining what could transform a normal-sized iPhone into this bizarre construct, it’s definitely something that will catch your attention. It’s part of an installation by two Russians artists, Alexei Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev, who are also known as Electroboutique.
When considering tablets, most people consider 7-inch or 10-inch models. No one in their right mind would think about using a 65-inch tablet, but the folks at Ardic Technologies in Istanbul have come up with one.
New for this year, Shimano has released their second electronic shifting group, Shimano Ultegra Di2. This 2012 component group includes a host of improvements, which will be transfered over to the next iteration of Shimano Dura Ace Di2.
The TCR Advanced has a conventional seatmast and is supposed to be 15% more comfortable because of this. It is made out of Toray’s T-700 fibers. The dropouts and bottom bracket sleeve is made out of aluminum, and the whole design uses a more modular monocoque construction.
For the 2012 model year, Giant tweaked their top-of-the line TCR Advanced SL frameset. It’s by no means drastic, but it follows the same lines and technology that they established with the previous model. Giant tends to work in 3-year product cycles, so the 2012 model is a safe bet for the next few years.

It came as a surprise when I checked up the specs on the Taiwanese Giant TCR Advanced 1; it comes with SRAM Force and Fulcrum Racing 0 2-Way Fit wheels, which is an unusual combo. I expected the bike to have Fulcrum Racing 3 wheels, but that isn’t the case.
At $4,100 USD, that makes this bike a great deal, especially since it comes with wheels that sell for $1,550 USD. The other bike from Giant that used to come with these wheels was the TCR Advanced SL 1 ISP from 2010, one of our best sellers.
