So, how about that power squid under your desk? Is it big enough yet? Well, if you’ve got the same problem that I have, then maybe a more discreet power strip would help. Or maybe it won’t. Needless to say, it might blend in, depending on your actual flooring.

We featured Jared’s setup about a year ago here at Unplggd, and we liked how he organized the lighting of his desk. Instead of using LED strips, he actually used some spots to light up his frosted glass desk. It gave off a nice diffuse glow, which is something we yearn for when we spend hours typing away at our workstations.
With the price of HDTVs of all kind going down to affordable levels, it makes sense for the modern home office to have one large display. These displays can be used to stream media, play video games or just for extra screen real estate when you feel like you’re getting cramped.

We always like to see how artists organize their workstations and creative spaces, because there’s usually something interesting that almost anyone can take out out of it. Some home studios can get quite complicated, but Maumusica’s uses a big desk and organization to make his stand out from the crowd.
