This amazing-looking Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Terminator helmet was created by Shawn Thorsson, and it’s hard to believe, but it started off as a papercraft model. I knew that you could do many things with paper, but this has to be one of the most ingenious ways of creating amazing props.

The QR-Code Island is a collaborative project between Mat Barnes and Eddie Blake, and is actually a scale-model of an island that can be scanned by smartphones as a QR code when viewed from above. You’d imagine that something like this would pop up in Dubai, but at least for now, it’s only a model.

When I saw Terminator 2 Judgment Day in the theater, I was blown away. We’d all seen the first Terminator movie in secret, but the second one definitely put the bar up high. This is one of the reasons why the Terminator 2 Judgment Day T-800 Endoskull Replica is so cool. It’s a reminder of that great movie.

Remember that guy who made that duct tape AT-AT? Well, he’s just listed another Star Wars item. This new listing is for a Millennium Falcon that’s made out of cardboard, Styrofoam, and aluminum tape. That makes it all shiny.
While I think it’s really cool that someone made a duct tape/sharpie AT-AT, I find it a bit ridiculous that it’s currently being sold on eBay with a starting bid of $400. Still, it’s an AT-AT made out of duct tape, so I can’t complain too much.

In yet another LEGO-related post… I found a bunch of different landmarks that were copied using LEGOs. Some of them are merely passable, while others look amazing.
