Modular Cell Phones: The Way of the Future?

We all love our iPhones, but will it still represent the wave of the future in a few years? The one thing that I can’t bear without is some form of input device, better than a small touchscreen that is just unwieldy. I don’t think that the slide-away keyboards are a solution either. LG has been studying this quandary for some time and have come up with a solution: modular cell phones. Cell phones that have pieces that can be taken off and reattached.

Blackbook M: The Android Phone You’ll Want

Personally, I find the design of the HTC G1 a bit unappealing. That’s why I found this design tantalizing. It’s a concept phone named the Blackbook M designed by Emre Durmus, a freelance photographer and designer.
