Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I love this comment by Sweet Clementine about this photo. The photo isn’t NSFW, but there is an air of sexuality about it. I love it, it’s beautiful and the girl is beautiful as well.
But, Sarah, I love you more than Google.
Little AK to Sarah.
Now that’s love!
Isaac Asimov (1920-1992)
The day that Isaac Asimov died, I thought about wearing a black mourning band around my arm for a while. Isaac Asimov was at the time one of my favorite authors, with Frank Herbert. He still is and I always relish reading his novels once more. I thought about the mourning band, but then I didn’t do it. I was 16 and awkward questions would have probably arisen. I was the only kid that was a visible minority in my school of 1000 kids. It was a heavy burden.
As my wife is discovering now, it’s not always easy being visibly different from everyone around you. The stares and the looks get tiring after a short while when the novelty wears off. It’s draining to always be the focus of others. As the years progressed, I became less of a single person minority. Things most definitely changed when I moved to Montreal in 2002, but I was already no longer into going out and seeing the latest DJs anymore. I had been there and done that for about 5 years of my life and after a while, it just got repetitive.
Nothing speaks louder than code.
