Google Flight Search Expands into Europe

Getting the cheapest flights is often a concern, especially if you’re traveling internationally. Google Flight Search is a quick and helpful tool for locating the best prices for flyers, but when the service was launched, it was available only for US-based travelers. Google just recently expanded the service to cover more countries.

Physicists Use Cheap Colliders to Probe for Heavy photons

A three-week experiment is set to start on April 24th at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, Virginia, in which electrons will crash into a thin tungsten target 500 million times a second that will create a cascade of short-lived particles. Physicists of the Heavy Photon Search (HPS) are hoping to finds signs of a heavy or dark photon.

Others are a bit more perplexing. I was curious enough to google them and find out more. All of the search words that I didn’t know are social networking sites, facebooks from other countries in other languages. A nice pêle-mêle.
