My wife and I both enjoy watching Survivor. It’s become interesting again, and they’ve chosen great contestants this time around. It’s not as great as the All Star edition, but still good entertainment.
I wasn’t surprised to see James voted out. There have been rumors of discontent in the old Fei Long tribe. I’m just surprised that Amanda was the one who finally got the plan in motion. I guess that James’ smug attitude of entitlement and his arrogance got to his team. They just booted him out. In the end, James had two immunity idols that he could have played. But he didn’t and that was his downfall. He wasn’t cunning enough or shrewd enough. He got played.
Episode 10 was a recap episode. I didn’t bother with that one.

Jeff tells the tribe that they will compete in a special reward challenge. The reward involves traveling to the Shaolin Temple in the mountains hundreds of miles away via plane. The winner will take two tribe members.
During the challenge, PG is surprised that James is doing well. PG wins easily. She chooses Eric and Denise. Todd tried to brownnose his way in with some fake smiles, but PG decided not to pick the little bastard. Good for her!
Todd tries to rally his troops when PG, Denise and Eric leave. Amanda isn’t happy to go to the final four with her tribemates. She thinks that she needs a change.
PG tries to do the same thing with Denise and Eric.
Denise tells the monks that she’s been doing karate for 8 years and that her black belt is coming up. She plans on opening her own school later.
They see a martial arts demonstration by the monks. It’s pretty impressive. A monk asks Denise to show off her prowess with martial arts. She does a kata and the other tribemates are impressed. They have some food. They sleep in a nice room with some mats. Meanwhile the other members of the tribe are huddled in a cave. Only Amanda goes out to greet the arriving members from their reward challenge. PG goes on and on about the reward challenge.
Courtney is pissed at PG for invading her space in the cave.
Eric is trying to work on James, but James isn’t budging.
Amanda and Courtney take a walk. They find throwing stars in the tree mail. Amanda tells Courtney that she wants to get rid of James.
The immunity challenge involves throwing stars at targets. PG first star hits the ground. Her second hits the out of bounds bid. Her last one hits the floor. Todd scores 3 with his last throw. Eric scores 6. Courtney gets 6 and doesn’t miss a shot. Amanda gets 6 as well. James is in the final as well with 6.
I love it how Amanda’s ass is always blanked out. I guess that her swimsuit is showing too much ass for the American viewing public.
During the final, James’ shot ricochets again and Eric wins immunity with one throw of 3 points.
Amanda talks with Todd. She tells him that it’s time to get rid of James. PG finds the hidden immunity idols. PG talks with Amanda. Amanda tells PG not to do anything. PG tells Eric that they should both vote for Todd. Eric is just stupid. He thinks that he is risking a lot by voting for Todd tonight. What an idiot! He’d get closer to the million dollars. It’s expected that he would vote for someone from the old Zhang Hu.
James says that he is taking the idols with him. James says that if he suspects something, he’ll use the idols.
PG is really annoying at tribal. In fact she’s always annoying. Denise is kind of hinting that James will get voted out. Jeff is talking about trust.
Just like the gullible idiot that he is, James doesn’t play the immunity idols and gets voted off.
